On the morning of Sunday, December 7th, 1941, around 60 years ago, Japanese bombers and fighters attacked by surprise the U.S. naval fleet based at Pearl Harbor, in the islands of Hawaii.
Admiral Yamamoto organised this attack secretly and his success lead to the loss of about 2000 americans.
